Ramakrishna Mission are giving out packets of seeds in the hope that members of our community might be able to grow their own food. What’s that saying ‘give a man a fish and he’ll feed his family for the day, teach a man to fish and he’ll feed his community for a lifetime.
This seed program was developed in response to a series of natural disasters, the last of which of course was TC Winston. Swami Dada Nandan, the President of Ramakrishna Mission, has been working with his team handing out seed packets at markets and other community events around the country. He’s talking here with Allison from the mid day show.
