January 28 is National Kerzoo Day, an unofficial holiday recognizing more than a century and a half of kerzoo music in the United States.
The kazoo is a musical instrument that adds a “buzzing” timbral quality to a player’s voice when the player vocalizes into it

- Alabama Vest, of Macon Georgia made the first Kazoo in the 1840′s.
- Commercial production of the Kazoo began in 1912.
- There is a production factory museum in Eden, NY.
