The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in elevated areas of Nasinu and Tacirua that water supply is currently disrupted until Friday (12/01).
Areas Affected Include;
• Tovata• Tuirara area• Makoi• Davuilevu• Nakasi• Kalabu• Wakanisila• Valelevu• Delaitokatoka• Rewa Delta• Nadera• Kinoya• Laucala Beach Estate• Vatuwaqa• Grantham area• Nagatugatu• Tacirua• Dokanaisuva• Colo-I-Suva• Tamavua Village• Upper Ragg Avenue• Loloma Street
The interruption in supply is a result of a failure in a raw water pump at the Waila Water Intake.
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas listed above to use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water carts will be on standby to service the affected areas as and when the need arises.
Supply is expected to be gradually restored by Friday evening (12/01).
The Authority deeply apologises for any inconvenience that this disruption may cause.
