Education ministry has confirmed that school will begin on Monday 15th of Jan and not on Tuesday as it usually does. So our children have to report to school on Monday next week.
Permanent Secretary for Education Iowane Tiko says they have decided that the first day of school for students should be Monday and not Tuesday.
When asked as to why this change had occurred, Tiko answered that it is their call.
As school starts on Monday for students, teachers have reported to schools from today to prepare for the new school year.
