Fiji Airways Flying Fijians captain Akapusi Qera believes their first match against Samoa will set the platform in the retaining the Pacific Nations Cup next month.

Qera says his concern is getting the players together as a team for the tough match against the arch-rivals Samoa.

“Right now we’ll just get game after game so our main focus now is Samoa and we’ll do whatever we can and within the next few days, the boys are marching into camp next week to prepare for the game against Samoa that’s the main game for us and in order to get a three out of three in this June test we need to win the first game and we looking forward to that and am excited to play with the new boys that have been selected.”

Fiji plays Samoa, Tonga and Georgia in the test matches next month.
