With its long tradition, the WBF is considered the founder of the modern bodypainting art movement – which was almost unknown 20 years ago. The WBF is not just another major event among many, it has grown over the years, and especially in passion.
Visitors were welcomed by hundreds of performers and models being painted live on the festival grounds. The World Bodypainting Festival is defined as a melting pot of artistic performances, body art, art, music and lifestyle and stages not only your own body awareness, but also offers endless possibilities to decorate and display these.
