Our Fiji 7s Men Have Their Eyes On The Prize

GO Fiji GO!!!

The Fiji Men’s 7s team preparations are almost complete and the waiting game to see who they will play for round one begins. Will it be Japan, or will it be Uruguay?

For Head Coach Gareth Baber either contest will be a solid challenge to kick start our campaign for the World Cup.

With only three days to go until the start of the Rugby World Cup Sevens, Coach Gareth Baber is confident that the  balance of talent in this year’s team is right to counteract whatever challenge they will be presented with.

This, after Baber’s announcement of his final squad surprised a lot of us especially with the most notable Eroni Sau dropped from the list. The dynamic try scorer, who is set to join Perpignan at the end of the season, had a terrific break out season on the HSBC circuit, however, was unlucky to miss selection.

Now, with the depth of talent and experience our boys have only one goal in their minds and their eyes on the big picture.

We wish the Fiji 7s Team all the very best in this years Rugby 7s World Cup. Let’s cheer our boys on to bring home the glory!
