Oceania Rugby U20s Trophy

The yearly Oceania Rugby U20s Trophy is the Oceania Rugby age grade qualification tournament which provides a pathway to the yearly World Rugby U20 Trophy. The winner of the Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy is also eligible to participate in the Oceania Rugby U20s Championship (as determined by standings). The 2017 Oceania Rugby U20s Championship will be hosted by Fiji Rugby Union and will feature Fiji and Tonga in a 2 match fixture on the 28th November and 2nd December. Both teams will be vying for the ‘Oceania’ qualification spot to attend the 2018 World Rugby U20s Trophy along with regional neighbours Samoa who were relegated back to the U20s Trophy following their last place finish at the 2017 World Rugby Championship in Georgia. The 2016 Oceania Rugby U20s Trophy was hosted by Fiji Rugby Union. The Fijian team were victorious against both the Cook Islands and Tonga to claim the 2016 title and qualify to the 2017 Oceania Rugby U20s Championship joining Australia, New Zealand and Samoa and also the 2017 World Rugby U20s Trophy held in Uruguay.

Kick off is at 5PM at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
