Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s playmaker Amenoni Nasilasila is still leading the most points scored in the 2017/2018 World Sevens Series after their disappointing sixth-place finish in Sydney.
Nasilasila currently has 112 points which include 10 tries and 31 conversions from 16 matches.
After the Sydney 7s, Fiji has dropped down to fifth place in the series standings with 40 points.
South Africa has taken the lead with 58 points, New Zealand is in second place with 54 points, Australia has moved up to third place with 43 points while Argentina is in fourth place with 41 points.
Meanwhile, Fiji has been pooled with Sydney 7s champions Australia, Wales and Spain in Pool A in the Hamilton 7s.
Pool B has South Africa, England, Russia and a 16th team which is yet to be confirmed.
Pool C includes Argentina, New Zealand, France and Scotland while USA, Kenya, Samoa and Canada are in Pool D.
Fiji will take on Wales in their first game at 10.36am Saturday, they will then face Spain at 2.02pm before taking on Australia at 5.50pm Saturday.
The medal quarterfinals will start at 10.36am Sunday, the semi-final will be at 2.49pm while the final will start at 6.03pm Sunday…..fijivillage
