Now if you’re wondering what or who Virtues Project Fiji is, they are a global grassroots initiative to inspire the practice of virtues in everyday life, sparking a global revolution of kindness, justice, and integrity in more than 100 countries through Facilitators, Master Facilitators, Champions and Virtues Connections. They have set out on a mission to address the issue of violence against women and children. Violence against women and children in Fiji is a continuing problem. Many groups and government agencies are running ‘awareness’ campaigns but people need ‘tools’ to address the issue. These tools exist in The Virtues Project as the 5 strategies. Fiji has already witnessed the changes in the communities using these tools. They will train many more people as PEACEMAKERS who will also use the puppeteers to enhance the training and widen the scope of dealing with this problem.
