Maroon 5 Asks For ‘Help’ In Stripped-Down New Track With Julia Michaels

Maroon 5 released another track off their upcoming sixth album Red Pill Blues today, titled “Help Me Out.” Newcomer Julia Michaels lends guest vocals to the song.

Adam Levine and Michaels sing over a simple guitar riff that contrasts Maroon 5’s established style of high energy, big-production singles like “Maps” and “Moves Like Jagger.” Michaels is the most recent high-profile guest to appear on one of the album’s advance tracks, following ascendant R&B star SZA‘s appearance on current top 40 Hot 100 hit “What Lovers Do.”
