2017 came and went and brought what looked like to be a power packed movie line up on the big screen – from The Fate of The Furious, Justice League, Star Wars and all the way to Pitch Perfect 3. There were so many movies that came out that it was hard to pick which one topped the list for 2017. But that’s done and dusted and with 2018 off to a great start, there are a list of movies that I’m looking forward to and cannot wait to see! It somewhat outshines the list from 2017 completely – well that’s just my opinion. Let’s take a look at the list of movies that will be dropping during the year (we’ll just pick 3 that everyone is looking forward to or we’ll be going on for days lol)
Numeral uno on the list is – Black Panther!!
Due to Release on the 16th of February, only a few days away and I cannot wait! A whole lot of action, and the suits look AMAZING for the movie and the soundtrack for the movie is one that I am looking forward to as well. Based on T’Challa who is played by Chadwick Boseman, who returns home to Wakanda to take his rightful place as King until he runs into a situation where he is forced to not only save his people of Wakanda but the world to. Look out for this movie, it is one that’s definitely going to be one that I’ll be watching over and over again.
Number 2 – Avengers: Infinity War
Move aside Justice League, one look at the trailer for this and I had goosebumps! This is going to be one of the best movies out this year for sure! Taking on one of their most toughest opponents yet, Thanos, who is out to get his hands on the infinity stones to wreak havoc on mankind. The movie will also feature the “Guardians of The Galaxy” crew which should be interesting. Also if you have watched the trailer, the closing scene for the trailer where The Avengers were running what looked like they were running into battle, it looked like it was going to be EPIC! It’s set to release on the 25th of April, the countdown begins!
Number 3 – The Incredibles 2
With part 1 coming out waaaaaaaayyyyyy back in 2004, the release of Incredibles 2 this year will be one to look out for. Taking a look at the teaser trailer for the animated movie, Jack Jack is seen shooting lasers out of his eyes, there has been an official trailer release as of yet, but I am excited for this to drop. One thing that had me scratching my head though was, it’s been 14 years and Jack Jack is still a baby? I mean I thought he’d at least be a little older than he was in the 1st installment but who knows, they’re probably planning to pick up from where they left off in Incredibles 1, we’ll only have to wait and see.
Incredibles 2 is scheduled to release on the 14th of June.
