A man who allegedly raped a 12‑year‑old girl in Lakena and then tried to run her over before attempting to rape another girl last week has been remanded in custody by the Nausori Magistrates Court
It is alleged that Umendra Kumar had abducted the 14‑year‑old girl from Nasinu and took her to Nadi, Lautoka and Rakiraki and raped her on three separate days.
