This year marks the third consecutive year for Fijian Tourism Expo(FTE), it is a uniquely designed Fijian tourism experience for international buyers and travel trade media. FTE is hosted by Tourism Fiji and provides a cross sectoral platform for partners in the tourism industry to engage directly with international buyers and travel trade media.
The theme for FTE 2016 is TEAM FIJI – conceived from the idea that together all partners in the industry have a stronger presence in the global market. Team Fiji is all about coming together with a view of building a bigger and better tourism industry in a sustained and holistic way.
FTE is ideal for building and strengthening partnerships like nowhere else. It is for anyone serious about exporing the limitless potential of the Fijian Tourism Industry. The official opening of the FTE 2016 was held at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa by the Honourable Prime Minister Hon.Ratu Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama. A total of 149 International Buyers from 19 countries including Fiji, 112 Exihibiters/Sellers with 111 booths. 15 international media and 20 local media from 11 media outlets.
