Apart from the New Zealand 7s squad, Japan 7s coach Damian Karauna has named four Fijian-born players in his squad for this month’s Rugby 7s World Cup in San Francisco.
Kaurauna has roped in Jone Naikabula, Josefa Lilidamu who were part of the squad at the Hong Kong tournament and also Jose Seru and Kameli Soejima have been called in to be part of the world cup squad.
Japan meets Uruguay at 3.15am next Saturday and the winners of the match will meet Fiji.
