“Extraordinary ‘Sound Wave Tattoo'” Body Art That You Can LISTEN To Onto Your Skin

Sound wave body art, the tattoo uses a smartphone app to produce one minute of audio

Tattoos have always been viewed in order to get its intended effect. Now, thanks advanced technology , a tattoo artist in LA has succeeded in crafting tattoos you can LISTEN to. Nate Siggard calls these advance body arts “sound wave tattoos” and works by combining with an app on your smartphone.

The app generates a sound wave pattern based on one minute of audio. Now the audio can be spoken words, music or just a series of noises. Then that pattern is inked on the skin. 24 hours later it is followed up with a connection that gets read by your smartphone camera. Siggard’s first creation was a sound wave tattoo of his girlfriend’s voice and his baby’s happy gurgle. After that tech tattoo, a video demonstration of the technology was uploaded to Facebook. It quickly collected thousands of comments, mostly from people asking how they could get one.

Sound Wave app is yet to be released, but Nate Siggard’s company Skin Motion is planning to have it available in June 2017. They are planning to partner with tattoo artists around the world who will then become certified to carry out the designs.
