Chicken Tomato Puree


1 # 15 chicken cut into small pieces

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 onion, cubed

3 tablespoons of oil

a handful of chopped dhania

2 cans of tomato puree

3 table spoons of sugar

salt to taste


heat oil in a medium pot

Add the onion and stir until golden brown, then add garlic and continue to stir

Add the chicken and then bring that to the boil. This process will take about 30 minutes

Once the chicken is cooked add the tomato puree and allow to simmer

add the sugar and salt

add the dhania and stir

ready to eat

note, do not add water.

best served with rice. Serves 4 – 6 people
