If given the chance, Ben Volavola is ready to be the first choice flyhalf for the Flying Fijians in the Rugby World Cup next month. Volavola who topped the beep test for the backline said his consistent performance in the PNC had developed his role as a flyhalf. Volavola regards former Fijians Flyhalf Nicky Little as one of his heroes. The 24 year old attended Veiuto Primary School and moved back to Sydney in 2000 with his mum Emma Volavola. He is also the grandson of former Suva Mayor Peni Volavola. Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales, England and Uruguay at the Rugby world Cup.
