A schoolboy has been given the all-clear after being told he had six days to live – all the way back in 2009.Jake Turton, now 12, was six-years-old when he was diagnosed with cancer in October 2009 and was told he could die within a week.But pioneering Italian treatment has saved his life bolstering his survival chances from 30 per cent to 70.
The family were initially dealt the devastating blow that the malignant brain tumourhad spread to his spine and Jake was given just six days to live.But six years on and Jake has been given the all-clear after his oncologist suggested treatment from Italy.
