Also comemorating the day;
NASEYANI Primary School students in Tavua joined the global community yesterday in raising awareness of the dangers of illicit drugs and its impact on society.
Marking the week-long International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, students from villages of Naseyani, Nananu and Drauniivi organised oratories and dramas on the effects of drugs.
They carried banners and chanted “say no to drugs”.
And also CONCERNED students and teachers of Tai District School in Verata, Tailevu came out of their classrooms to join the global fight against drugs yesterday.
Only this time, their voices were not concealed within their school environment. They marched through their communities with placards chanting slogans.
