England has named a top lineup side to take on the Flying Fijians in their opening game of the Rugby World Cup. The only adjustment to the 23 that dispatched Ireland 21-13 nine days ago sees hooker Rob Webber replace Jamie George on a bench that includes rugby league convert Sam Burgess. Coach Stuart Lancaster is taking no risks for their game against Fiji after naming his strongest side for the Twickenham clash. Lancaster knows he cannot afford a slip up against an in-form Fiji team that is ranked ninth in the world. He insisted Fiji will get the respect for their recent international improvement but believes the Red Rose can start their World Cup in style. –
This Saturday’s match between the Flying Fijians and England will be the first time the teams will come face-to-face since 2012. It will be the sixth official meeting between the two sides with England currently unbeaten against the Pacific Islanders. England has won all five previous encounters against Fiji and is also favourites for the opening match at the 2015 Rugby World Cup. England has also won all the three games they played against Fiji at Twickenham.
