This weekend October 14 and 15 will see FNU celebrate the lives of their graduates around world.
All graduates of FNU and the Agriculture College, Nursing colleges and other schools that were combined to make what is now FNU are invited back to the Suva campus for a whole range of events.
Among the events will be the launch of the FNU Alumni LinkedIn page as well as public lectures from high profile graduates such as Professor Jack Singh who now lectures at Melbourne’s Swinburne University.

It’s set to be a jam packed weekend. You might go along simply to try and reconnect with old uni friends or even just so the kids can enjoy the fairground rides. In the end these events are, in reality, a great way to make connections that could seriously help your career path.
Alifereti Cawanibuka is the Vice President of Fiji National University’s Alumni Association, he told Allison that being involved in the Alumni is a powerful tool in the development of a graduates career.
The homecoming event is taking place at the Nasinu campus in Suva. The Alumni are not only there for the students during these events though.
