When sad news reaches you about someone, you can’t help but reminisce on the last time you met…what you talked about…..the laughs……this was the feelings after hearing the news that one of the founding member of Black Rose (now Rosiloa) had passed away on Monday.
A Fiji musical icon, “Peter Chong”, was 48 and passed away after a short illness. The musical icon was instrumental in the sound of Black Rose through the years…with hit songs “Raude” & “Ie Dela”.
Either on the keyboard or making adjustments to the mixer…Peter was one of the gifted ones!
So with his passing…we pay tribute to Peter Chong & his family…along with Fiji’s Black Rose…..and say Thank You.
Truly Peter’s influence will be missed from Fiji’s musical landscape!
